Currently all emergency communication goes via the NTA station, while the crisis room is based at NDMO. Communication between both buildings is via email and phone only.
How is the communication system in Marshall Islands?
The main station responsible for that was the 6th Communications Unit at Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The unit copied communications from the U.S. command and ships at Pearl
Before COVID-19, a PCS to Kwajalein was a lot different than it is now. Due to the strict Republic of the Marshall Islands travel issuances, there have been zero COVID cases in the RMI.
